Your Coaches Story
Jeff is a dedicated professional in the field of health and fitness, with a strong foundation built on personal athletic experience and academic achievement. During high school, Jeff excelled as a three-sport athlete, competing in football, fencing, and throwing shot put and discus for the track and field team. However, his athletic career was impacted by a shoulder injury that never fully healed, a condition later attributed to poor motor patterns.
While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Jeff initially planned to play football at the collegiate level. Unfortunately, the lingering effects of his injury prevented him from continuing in the sport. This pivotal moment led Jeff to redefine his passion for athletics, deciding to focus on training others. He declared exercise science as his major, marking the beginning of his journey in health and fitness.
Since earning his undergraduate degree, Jeff has become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and completed a master’s degree in exercise science. He has also gained invaluable experience by shadowing numerous physical therapists, deepening his understanding of movement mechanics and rehabilitation. Jeff has dedicated his career to helping individuals enhance their athletic performance and teaching them how to move safely and efficiently during exercise. By combining evidence-based practices with a commitment to individualized progress, Jeff empowers people to achieve their fitness goals while maximizing their overall health.
